#What to use to use ps3 controller on windows 10 64 bit drivers
They were very basic drivers and had no tweakable options - the main problem I found was the dead-zones on the analogue sticks. The only problem is that the drivers suck, at least they did when I had my wireless receiver + wireless pad. Like everyone has said, the Xbox360 pads work with Windows and official drivers exist.
I'd assume that drivers for WinXP/Vista exist so it's probably a case of Googling around. I was looking for PS3 Mac drivers and actually found one. Ugly, blocky receiver that doesn't fit in wherever you put it, and doesn't work with anything else. If you want a non-white one count £15 for a receiver and £35 for a controller and battery. Cons: Huge price of controller + receiver (minimum £30) plus Play & Charge battery (£12). Cons: Shady installation process, support for multiple controllers poorly explored.ģ60: Pros: Microsoft security, official support, receiver can support up to four controllers. PS3: Pros: Cost is only controller and tiny, unobtrusive bluetooth USB thingy. I moved on to 360 controllers, but I don't like white and I don't like wires, which leaves me with buying a receiver and a controller, and rechargeable battery, and then selling the controller to get a black one. I thought about that (preferring the DualShock over all other controllers) but have decided it's basically not worth the risk and annoyance. Therefore, the most common response is to use drivers by some guy calling himself ' Motion In Joy.' The immediately obvious downside of this is that having been cooked up in Mom's basement, these are unsigned and you'll have to put 7 into some sort of strange testing mode every time you want to use them. Unfortunately, Sony hates people playing PC games and has therefore decided to obstruct you by never releasing drivers.
You can use a PS3 controller (be it 6axis or DS3, wired or bluetooth) on Windows 7.
